WHAT AGE RANGE DO YOU ACCEPT?
At Kornkaew Montessori School, we welcome young learners within the age range of 1 to 6 years old. We understand that every child develops at their own pace, and thus, we do not require students to be potty trained or fluent speakers upon enrollment. Our dedicated staff members are committed to assisting with toilet training and enhancing speaking skills, working collaboratively with parents to ensure a smooth transition. The primary requirement for enrollment is that students should be able to walk independently without support. Our focus is on providing a supportive and inclusive environment where each child's unique developmental needs are met, fostering a positive and enriching educational experience.
AT WHAT AGE SHOULD MY CHILD APPLY?
Every child is a unique individual, and their development is marked by specific critical periods, crucial times when they are especially receptive to learning certain skills. These periods vary from child to child, and there's no universal 'right' age to enroll. It truly depends on the dynamics of each family. If you understand your child's critical period and can provide the necessary support and social skills at home, you have the flexibility to decide when they are ready for more structured learning with professionals. For families who might find it challenging to dedicate time and resources to support these critical periods, enrolling as soon as possible is advised. Time is of the essence, as once these critical periods pass, they do not return. Therefore, the best time to apply is when you feel equipped to support your child's unique developmental needs, ensuring they have every opportunity to flourish.
CAN I SCHEDULE A SCHOOL VISIT?
Absolutely, we welcome parents to experience our school through our online private tours conducted via ZOOM. These virtual sessions offer an in-depth understanding of our activities and curriculum, taking approximately one hour and including a Q&A session. While we understand the value of on-site visits, we prioritize the safety and uninterrupted learning environment of our students. Hence, we have opted for virtual tours to provide you with a comprehensive insight into our school from the comfort of your home. We believe this approach allows you to get a real sense of our nurturing environment and innovative teaching methods while ensuring our students' focus remains undisturbed during their classes.
